# Help and Node

Resolve common issues and understand CORTEX node capabilities.

Use these pages when you need the current in-app procedure or need to check what the node can do.

## Help & user guide

Select **Help & node → Help & user guide**. The page has start guides, **Task guides**, **Questions & answers**, and **JDP 2-00 practice**. Choose the guide for the task you are doing. A guide can show an exact route and the role that uses it. The detailed task guides in this book come from the same Help catalogue.

The [menu map](/reference/table-of-contents.md) helps you match a task guide to a menu item. Use the in-app Help page when you need to check the currently packaged wording.

## Node & capabilities

Select **Help & node → Node & capabilities**. Read **Available workflows**, **Connection and save behaviour**, and **Delivery status**. These sections tell you which work the node supports and whether it can reach external services.

{% hint style="info" %}
Keep the browser connected to the node while you save. The page must confirm the saved version. The browser does not store a queue of CORTEX changes for a later automatic sync.
{% endhint %}

If the node's external connection is offline, approved local work can still be available, while hosted generation or external feeds can stop. Read [connection limits](/workflow-guides/assurance/offline.md) for the exact behavior.
